TRANSITIONS by Elizabeth Holt
I am prepared: Soup and bread in the freezer; Kitchen cupboards filled with cans of every kind of food; Analgesic in the tin box Nestling beside the wasp-sting spray... Transitions is about some of those times in life when changes happen: the loss of love; events in the past whose effects are hard to shake off; the shock of change that comes with ageing. More recently, there are the enforced changes that the 2020 pandemic brought. But then, nature shows us that change need not be a bad thing — it can bring joy too. |
